2nd August 2015, our female trekking guide training group heading to Pokhara. our plan is going to Poonhill trekking (Gorepani) for practical guiding trainig in the field. We will return to Kathmandu on 9 August. we are total 34 members in a group including 30 female trainees, 3 Nepalese mountain guide instructors and 1 official from Mountain Academy of Nepal.
Female trekking guide course is annual program of Mountain Academy of Nepal. This is the second batch training. Mountain Academy of Nepal were successfully conducted first female trekking guide training in 2013. The training objective is impowerment Nepalese famale thorough skill developement in mountain tourism fiel specially trekking component.
