Everest Basecamp & Kalapathar Trek 2015

Walk into the heart of the world's highest peaks at Everest Base Camp, following in the footsteps of legendary high altitude mountaineers. The Everest Base Camp trek on the Nepal side is one of the most popular trekking routes in the world, and is visited by many of trekkers and climbers each year. Kalapathar meaning is Black Rock in Nepali and Hindi. The ascent of this rocky knoll is very popular with trekkers in the region. It provides the most accessible point to see several mountains, glaciers in 360 degree view including Mount Everest, Khumbu glaciers, Khumbu icefall, Mount Nuptse, Pomori, Khumbutse, Lingtren, Chhang Ri, Tham serku, KhangTega, Tabuche, Pokalde, Mehera and Everest basecamp. We start our trek from Lukla 2860m the gate way of Everest. From Lukla, we upward to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar, 3,440 metres following the valley of the Dudh Koshi river. Walk with me.
